Responsibilities:
- Supporting the month-end close (5 days) - Journal entries, Bank Reconciliations, Accruals, Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Support the data prep cutover with a mock close in the soon to be implemented system (NetSuite)
- Regularly work with vast and complex Excel data sets. This includes designing and managing Pivot tables.
Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in a senior accounting role and a strong understanding of GAAP accounting
- Proficiency with NetSuite or Sage Intacct (plus, not required)
- High-level capability with Excel, particularly in handling large data sets and Pivot tables
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-volume accounts
- Proactive problem-solving skills
