Contractor Sr. Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Utilize NetSuite to manage and improve financial processes and reporting.
• Conduct month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports and present to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial management.
• Leverage your knowledge of the General Ledger to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with various teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyze the company's financial status and performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to the accounting team as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in NetSuite software is essential.
• Strong understanding and experience with General Ledger management.
• Demonstrable experience with Month End Close procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to review financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
