Full-Time Sr Analytics Engineer

About the Role: Staff Analytics Engineers are architects of critical data products at Rula, powering insights from patient engagement to clinical operations. Hands-on experience in dbt, Redshift, and Looker is needed to create trusted, scalable data models that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: You will partner with data scientists, product managers, and operational leaders. Turn complex questions into elegant data solutions by building a clean and well-documented analytics layer.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Data Science
• 3-5 years of analytics engineering experience, delivering high-quality data models and reports
• Advanced dbt proficiency (Cloud or Core)
• Strong SQL skills with understanding of data modeling best practices
• Cloud data warehouse experience, especially Amazon Redshift
• Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Looker
• Product mindset, focused on enabling others with clean, reusable data assets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building and maintaining a centralized semantic layer
• Healthcare or regulated data environment experience
• Exposure to event-based data models
• Comfort working with stakeholders
• Data platform or data governance experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices (dbt Cloud, Git)
