Full-Time Sr Business Intelligence Analyst

Brightspeed is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Network Transformation organization.

This role will develop and maintain reporting & insights systems for our entrepreneurial business requirements. Our ideal candidate excels at identifying practical solutions from complex data sets and translating insights into strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data from internal/external sources (SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, etc.) for accurate business consumption.
• Design, develop, and implement decision support solutions, potentially including data visualization and data collection.
• Collaborate with IT to optimize ETL processes and data structures for enhanced analysis.
• Ensure project completion within budget and network readiness deadlines.
• Develop innovative solutions to address complex data issues and business problems (e.g., legacy equipment decommissioning).
• Define business requirements with stakeholders and develop business intelligence reports.
• Evaluate business needs to inform OSP architecture design solutions for Leaders and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain reporting infrastructure using various tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Looker, QlikSense).
• Serve as a technical business analyst/consultant to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, etc.) preferred.
• 10+ years of Telecom experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of Copper/Fiber services.
• 5+ years of experience as an engineer, planner, OSP designer, or Network data analyst.
• Experience with Telecom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld).
• Hands-on development experience with reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Looker, QlikSense).
• Experience with complex datasets and big data technologies (preferred).
• Strong written/verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead/collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong commitment to quality, detail, and deadlines.
