Full-Time Sr Cybersecurity Analyst

As the CyberSecurity Analyst you will be r involved in the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect and defend networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage, theft, or unauthorized access, including firewall, digital forensics, investigative services, and incident management.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Think like an attacker, probe, and identify potential attack vectors
• Demonstrate potential paths attackers might use against UHG environments
• Maintain daily operations of core testing
• Analyze and research potential security gaps for remediation opportunities
• Deliver technical analysis based on simulation results
• Monitor, update, and expand upon Security Effectiveness Testing
• Test and evaluate security tools as part of proof of concept efforts
• Create and execute simulation content for relevant headline threats

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Security+, GSEC, or other relevant security certification(s)
• 2+ years of information security experience
• 1+ years of experience querying for log data (e.g. SIEM platforms and databases)
• 1+ years of network components and concepts
• 1+ years of incident response case management
• Familiarity with common network and endpoint security tools
