Full-Time Sr Data Governance Analyst

The Senior Data Governance Analyst role will implement and architect data governance capabilities technically and via policies within RRD. The role will drive current and future state governance initiatives throughout the RRD ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with stakeholders, be a point person for data governance tools and process implementation.

1. Analyze business and technical processes to formalize and architect governance solutions.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
3. Document policies, processes, and initiatives to drive the Governance Program.
4. Create Data Quality, Data Governance, and data management workflows and approval checkpoints.
5. Train individuals on RRD’s Data Catalog and other Data Governance technologies.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to design solutions for continuous improvement.
7. Represent Data Governance in meetings and communications.
8. Help align business stakeholders on governance initiatives.
9. Recommend and implement process improvements.
10. Provide expertise on data governance risks and their operational impact.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Data Stewardship, Information Security, Data Privacy, or Business Analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Certifications in security, privacy, governance, or product management
• Experience with Collibra's Data Catalog or other metadata catalogs
• Programming language experience
• Experience with health and financial information
• Knowledge of advertisement and digital marketing

• Ability to align governance capabilities with product and business capabilities
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and on-premise/cloud boundaries

• Working knowledge of multiple technology stacks, primarily cloud-driven (e.g., Snowflake, AWS)
• Understanding of Data Security and Privacy fundamentals

Salary: $74,600 - $132,500/year (variable based on location, experience, etc.)
