Work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8a - 5p, Eastern Time Zone.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serves and a Leader/Mentor; acts as a resource for others with less experience and provides coaching and mentoring to staff members as needed
- Precept New/Existing Employees
- Actively participates in workgroups and initiatives
- Complete team specific reporting
- Consult with the Medical Director as needed for complex cases
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues; solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
- Performs complex conceptual analyses
- Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
- Forecasts and plans resource requirements
- Authorizes deviations from standards
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
- Motivates and inspires other team members

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Current, unrestricted RN license in state of residence
- Compact license
- 3+ years total RN experience including recent clinical experience in an inpatient/acute setting
- 2+ years of experience as a Charge Nurse, SME, Team Lead or other lead type role
- 2+ years of Case management and UM/UR experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills - Windows, IM, Excel (Microsoft Suite), Outlook, clinical platforms
- Must have a designated work space and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using either Interqual or MCG criteria
- Experience in complex discharge planning and/or chart review
- Experience with case management and utilization review for an insurance company or in a managed care environment
