PMHNP Nursing Assistant Professor will prepare course outline and syllabus, develop course and lesson plans, and select textbooks and teaching aids for courses.
Conduct course instruction using various teaching strategies (lectures, demonstrations, discussions) in face-to-face, online, and hybrid environments.
Serve as academic advisor/mentor to students, fostering personal and professional development. Submit student progress reports and attendance to program director and advisor, addressing student needs and remediation plans.
Maintain clinical currency.
Requirements:
- MSN with APRN national certification as a PMHNP
- 2-5 years PMHNP experience
- Terminal degree preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, planning, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
- Effective project management skills; detail and deadline oriented
Location: Applicants from Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, and Connecticut will be accepted; other states will be considered.
