Job Details
Account Executive is responsible for meeting assigned quota by selling to new and existing customers in the assigned territory. Manages the full sales cycle, including: setting up and presenting in local seminars, following up on leads, negotiating terms and prices, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Penetration of assigned geographical region to drive Identity Security and other information security challenges.
- Drive Identity Security business from new and existing targets.
- Meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Target and penetrate CxO, auditor, and practitioner/IT levels.
- Identify, cultivate, and formalize relationships with key partners and 3rd parties.
- Generate leads by scheduling and presenting in local seminars.
- Follow up on incoming leads, schedule and present in meetings.
- Demonstrate product capabilities, present architecture, and answer technical questions.
- Work and recruit with local VARs (Value-Added Resellers): transfer knowledge, motivate management and account executives, and perform mutual marketing events.
- Follow up continuously on potential sales processes.
- Negotiate terms/pricing and close deals.
- Perform weekly meetings with Renewals Manager, Regional Director, and Professional Services Manager to assess accounts and expedite up-sale/cross-sale processes.
- Schedule product evaluations by territory Sales Eng.
Travel: 20%-30%
Experience Required:
- Circa 5 years of experience in Enterprise SW sales
- Circa 3 years of experience in Information Security solutions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Energetic and target-driven
- Experience in South African Finance & Telecommunications sectors is advantageous
- Experience in IT Security within vendors or IT services companies
- Familiar with Cyber Security, Identity Management, Database Management, SIEM, and Compliance
- Ability to conduct executive-level presentations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
