SpectraMedix is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to generate actionable insights and support value-based care initiatives for healthcare clients.
This role involves analyzing healthcare datasets using SQL, creating interactive dashboards using Tableau, and managing healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis on various healthcare datasets.
- Assist in analysis/solution design, development, and delivery to healthcare clients.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and manage the Tableau server.
- Manage and maintain healthcare taxonomy-related code sets under MDM practice.
- Present analysis, findings, and insights in internal and external forums.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in the healthcare data analytics industry.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in developing dashboards using Tableau.
- Exposure to US healthcare data assets (HEDIS, HCPCS, CPT, FHIR, HL7) in the population health and managed care space.
- Experience developing statistical models using Python or similar technologies (preferred).
Required Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure/proficiency in Python.
- Experience managing the Tableau server.

- Expertise in prioritization, time management, and stakeholder management (internal & external).

- Understanding of different quality measures (ECQM, HEDIS, HCPCS, DSRIP, MIPS, etc.).
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent 4-year degree; graduate degree a plus.
- Knowledge of clinical systems and data.
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience as a Data Analyst/Business Data Analyst, preferably with US healthcare clients and Health IT projects.
- Expertise in Healthcare IT, including Value-Based Payment Programs, Claims, Attribution, and Quality Measures within population health demographics.
