SpectraMedix is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to generate actionable insights and support value-based care initiatives for healthcare clients. This role involves analyzing healthcare datasets using SQL, creating interactive dashboards in Tableau, and managing healthcare data. A key part of this role is delivering insights to both clients and internal teams to facilitate better decision-making in value-based care.
Location: East Windsor, New Jersey (Remote with occasional travel to the East Windsor, NJ office)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conducting data analysis on various disparate healthcare datasets.
- Aiding in analysis/solution design, development, and delivery to healthcare clients.
- Creating interactive dashboards using Tableau, managing and maintaining the Tableau server.
- Managing and maintaining various healthcare taxonomy related code sets under MDM practice.
- Presenting analysis, findings, insights in relevant internal and external forums.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience within the healthcare data analytics industry.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in developing dashboards using Tableau.
- Exposure to US healthcare data assets in population health and managed care (HEDIS/HCPCS/CPT/FHIR/HL7 data).
- (Preferred) Experience developing statistical models using Python or relevant technologies.
Required Skill Set (Good to Have):
- Exposure/proficiency in Python.
- Experience managing Tableau server.

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in prioritization, time management, and stakeholder management (internal and external).

- Experience working under tight deadlines within a matrix organizational structure.
- Understanding of various quality measures (ECQM/HEDIS/HCPCS/DSRIP/MIPS, etc.).
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a 4-year degree; graduate degree preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical systems and data.
- Minimum 5-8 years' experience as a Data Analyst/Business Data Analyst, preferably with US healthcare clients and Health IT projects.
- Expertise in Healthcare IT, specifically in areas such as Value-Based Payment Programs, Claims, Attribution, and Quality Measures within population health demographics.
