Full-Time Sr Manager Commercial Data Operations

Sr. Manager, Commercial Data Management will lead strategy, governance, and execution of master data initiatives across key domains (e.g., product, customer, supplier) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define data needs, optimize processes, and implement MDM technologies while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in MDM, strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, and a proven ability to drive data quality and operational excellence in a biotech or life sciences environment.

Reports to the Director of Commercial Data Architecture & Operations, as part of the Customer Experience Insights & Operations (CxI&O) team for North America.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality of master data.
2. Design, deploy, and manage Master Data Management solutions.
3. Collaborate with Commercial teams to understand data needs.
4. Manage relationships with data vendors.
5. Define data quality checks.
6. Enforce data governance policies.
7. Understand the data lifecycle.
8. Analyze data to provide actionable insights.
9. Provide training and support to partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 8-10 years of Master Data Management experience
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Azure Dev/Ops, cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
• Proven record of managing data needs
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources, commercial data needs, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience with data management and analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, Tableau)
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
• Experience in rare disease, hematology, immunology, or specialty-distributed products (preferred)

Compensation:

Base salary range: $140,000-$185,000 annually.
