We are looking for a talented Senior Manager for our Home Care Engineering Team. This team utilizes a modern technology stack to create, update, and maintain our frontend and backend infrastructure and tools that power the home care side of our business.
This role entails leading a small but impactful team comprising full-stack developers along with QA engineers.

What you will do:
- Lead and mentor the Home Care engineering team.
- Provide strategic direction, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Establish frameworks for managing, executing work, communicating progress, and directing team activities.
- Collaborate with Product partners and Executive-level stakeholders.
- Identify and understand business opportunities, present innovative technical solutions.
- Lead your team in executing high-impact projects.
- Encourage your team to experiment and innovate.
- Build proof of concept and present results.
- Partner with other directors and tech leads to understand cross-team dependencies.
- Validate feature proposals and drive system improvements.
- Provide the team with the tools, confidence, and motivation to make independent decisions.
- Responsible for the Home Care technical strategy and roadmap.
- Driving towards business outcomes and tracking success metrics.
- Close collaboration with other Engineering Managers, Product Partners, and stakeholders.
- Align work to achieving success metrics.
- Champion whole team quality approach.
- Professionally develop engineers on your team.
- Help them build and execute personal development plans.
- Aggressively recruit and hire talented engineers.
- Work closely with Product Partners and Stakeholders to ensure that the company objectives are met.
- Balance necessary engineering requirements and influence the overall technical direction and user experience of our website.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience working on or managing high performance engineering teams.
- Experience with modern, high-traffic applications and backend services.
- Preferably using .NET Core.
- Experience practicing modern software development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, XP.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of project management software (e.g., Jira).
- Strong understanding of metrics and analytics.
- Understanding of CRM capabilities (e.g., Salesforce).
- Understanding of API architecture (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
- Understanding of data collection and storage methodologies.
- Understanding of AWS Services, Docker Containers, and CI/CD.
