The Customer Outcomes team at ServiceNow works with customers to achieve business outcomes through prescriptive guidance. As part of the team, you'll drive consumption, adoption, and customer satisfaction, helping clients maximize their ServiceNow platform investment.
The Sr. Technical Consultant, Security Operations role is a functional and technical expert within a customer engagement team. Consult and configure ServiceNow Security Operations products adhering to best practices, focusing on accelerating and driving business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Technical expertise in supporting Security Operations via ServiceNow Security Operation Service Delivery configuration, emphasizing best practices.
- Support Security Operations engagements encompassing process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis during workshops.
- Advise customers on leveraging standard Security Operations Solution capabilities.
- Lead customer design workshops focusing on ServiceNow Platform and Security Operations.
- Develop and guide customers in completing documentation, including technical business requirements.
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer.
- Oversee and provide training for customer system administrators.
- Lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery, including oversight and unit testing of partner resources.
- Be a key member of engagement project teams for successful customer outcomes.
- Develop integrations (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with various systems.
- Develop portal components and prepare customer-facing deliverables.
- Manage multiple, complex projects.
- Promote continuous improvement in delivery and engagement materials.
- Support sales activities as needed.
- Provide training and mentoring to ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem.
- Up to 50% travel required based on customer needs and internal meetings.
Qualifications:
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- Relevant Solution-Specific Certified Implementation Specialist designations (e.g., CIS-SIR, CIS-VR, CIS-CSM)
- Minimum 3 years of configuration/development experience with complex technologies, including integrations and portals
- Proven ability to influence and consult in Security Operations, providing thought leadership and solving business process/technical problems
- Strong experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO) and SaaS technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and cultural awareness
- Proven team player and team builder
