Job Details
Facet is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor AP & Accounting inboxes for invoices.
- Process bill.com tasks (new vendors, payment methods, W9s, Tax IDs).
- Assist with close tasks during close weeks.
- Book journal entries (stock comp, insurance).
- Fixed Assets, Intangible Assets & Prepaids: set up schedules in NetSuite, record amortization, reconcile statements.
- Book other journal entries (Stock Comp, FINRA, Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, Nationwide).
- Help with audit support as needed.
Requirements:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bill.com experience
- NetSuite experience
- Financial statement audit support experience
- 1-2+ years experience in public accounting
- Basic knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
- Part-Time Contract role (3-4 months)
- 8-20 hours per week
- Hourly rate $30-$35
- Start Date: ASAP
