Full-Time Staff Engineer, QA Automation

Requirements:

• Total experience 7+ years.
• Strong working experience in QA Automation with deep expertise in mobile (Android/iOS) and web automation testing.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices, including build and source control automation tools like Jenkins, Git, and MS Azure DevOps.
• Solid experience in API automation using Rest Assured.
• Hands-on experience in automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium and Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Define QA strategies, test scenarios, and coverage plans aligned with business needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and reviewing high-quality code.
• Understanding client business use cases and technical requirements, converting them into elegant technical designs.
• Mapping decisions with requirements and translating them to developers.
• Identifying solutions and choosing the best option meeting client requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation.
• Writing and reviewing design documents explaining application architecture, framework, and high-level design for developers.
• Reviewing architecture and design (extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs), ensuring best practices.
• Developing and designing solutions for functional and non-functional requirements; defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
• Understanding and applying technology integration scenarios to projects.
• Resolving code/review issues through root cause analysis and justification of decisions.
• Carrying out Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to validate design/technology choices.
