Full-Time Staff Information Cloud Security Engineer | GCP Preferred

Role Summary:

• Build and operationalize security tools.
• Build and automate workflows and trending metrics dashboards.
• Suggest security improvements by assessing the current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
• Create and present functional and technical designs.
• Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participate in security incidents and implement containment and eradication.
• Evaluate audit and vulnerability findings.
• Serve as an expert for different tools built by the team.
• Act as guidance and facilitator to security operations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Participate in shaping security policies and standards.
• Interpret security and technical requirements.
• Communicate security risks to stakeholders.
• Influence build vs buy decisions.
• Accountable for project delivery.
• Participate in on-call roster.
• Align with product management on roadmap and feedback.
• Provide mentoring to peers.
• Leverage or critically think about integrating AI into work processes.

Must Have:

• 8+ years of Security Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Public Cloud (GCP preferred or Azure) experience.

Preferred:

• Experience in infrastructure automation tools (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with containerization (AKS or EKS).
• Experience implementing cloud native security tools (AWS Guard Duty or Azure Security Center).

Nice to Have:

• REGO experience.

Compensation: $147,300 - $257,800, plus equity, variable/incentive compensation and benefits.

Note: Base pay is a guideline and depends on qualifications, skill level, and work location.
