Full-Time Staff Information Security Engineer

The Enterprise Security Engineering team targets building state-of-the-art technology that will help reduce the risk surrounding the sensitive assets of the company with the least impact possible on operations, acts as guidance and facilitator to the security operations teams and helps shifting Security perception from blocker to enabler by building a relationship of trust with the other teams.

The Staff Information Security Engineer will help secure ServiceNow’s infrastructure by designing and deploying security solutions across the network, server, authentication, and certificate ecosystem.

You will work closely with infrastructure and cloud engineering teams to embed security best practices and build scalable, automated defenses.

1. Implement controls that secure networks and servers from unauthorized access and malicious activity.
2. Collaborate with platform and SRE teams to harden infrastructure and improve service resilience.
3. Deploy secure container configurations and integrate security into Kubernetes environments.
4. Contribute to the management and automation of the certificate lifecycle.
5. Enforce secure authentication mechanisms, least privilege access, and passwordless initiatives.
6. Build monitoring and detection capabilities that reduce response times and prevent outages.
7. Contribute to threat modeling, security reviews, and compliance assessments.
8. Automate routine security operations and reporting to reduce manual effort.
