Collectors is seeking a Staff QA Automation Engineer to lead functional and automation testing efforts across multiple products. You'll design, develop, and maintain robust testing frameworks, improving software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing strategies, encompassing both manual and automated methodologies. Contribute to the automated testing framework, ensuring edge cases are captured and tests integrate with the development pipeline. Ensure solutions have appropriate controls across the testing pyramid, handling high volumes of global traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligning with organizational goals.
- Define quality standards, methodologies, and processes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements, review specifications, and plan testing activities.
- Oversee test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Lead and coordinate testing for new product features.
- Implement reliable QA processes and tools, utilizing automated, load, and performance testing approaches.
- Plan and drive improvements to automation and performance test framework architecture.
- Assist in troubleshooting incidents, reproducing issues, and testing fixes.
- Provide effective bug reporting and coordinate with teams on fixes.
- Make recommendations for system features and improvements.
- Prioritize the customer experience, delivering a seamless experience at every touchpoint.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering
- 7+ years of QA test automation experience
- 3+ years of setting up load/performance test frameworks
- 3+ years of CI/CD experience integrating automation solutions into the DevOps pipeline
- 3+ years of AWS cloud solutions experience
Technical Skills:
- API testing (Karate, Postman, Soap UI)
- Mobile testing (Appium, Lambdatest)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Real-time datastream frameworks (Apache Kafka)
