Job Summary: Staff Site Reliability Engineer for Government Cloud team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational duties (deployments, on-call support, incident management) for FedRAMP cloud products.
- Participate in deployment sync calls and conduct Operations hand-offs.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS GovCloud, private cloud, containers, VMs).
- Operate and enhance monitoring systems; drive automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) efforts.
- Write and maintain documentation; resolve escalations; prevent incident recurrence; promote DevOps best practices.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Over 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Expertise in Operations and Engineering.
- FedRAMP compliance (High/Moderate levels).
- Vulnerability management and continuous monitoring (scanning, patching, reporting).
- Proficient in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, containerized architectures (AWS ECS, Kubernetes).
- Strong foundation in web security, networking, and coding (Python).
- U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS ECS and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of web security protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL, networking).
- Python coding experience for automation and software integration.
Compensation: $115,500 - $165,000 USD (base salary range).
