Full-Time Staff Software Development Engineer in Test

• Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Design & Framework Ownership: Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch across multiple platforms.
• Technical Authority: Serve as the technical authority on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Code Quality: Drive high standards for test code quality, structure, and maintainability.
• Non-Functional Testing: Design and execute advanced non-functional tests, including performance and load tests.
• Quality Strategy & Process Improvement: Partner with development and product teams to integrate testing practices early in the development lifecycle.
• CI/CD Integration: Own and optimize the integration of automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Troubleshooting: Expertly debug and analyze complex system failures.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Coach and mentor junior and mid-level SDETs and software engineers.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in a hands-on SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer role.
3. Expert proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go).
4. Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalents).
5. Deep practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
7. Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a domain-specific area (e.g., cloud infrastructure, machine learning, financial systems).
• Experience with advanced mocking/stubbing tools and service virtualization.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
