Strategic Account Coordinator serves as the direct liaison between client, sales, and production facilities.
Ensures timely and accurate production of client programs.
Serves as primary point of contact for mid to large-size clients focusing on client program execution.
Coordinates activities on major transactional/strategic accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Applying knowledge of client business requirements to execute successful print/direct mail programs.
- Engaging clients to gather job specifications and translate requirements into detailed manufacturing & shipping instructions.
- Reviewing client requirements for adherence to platform capabilities.
- Communicating client requirements to internal/external production/service providers.
- Conferring with clients during production to update job status, solicit additional information, and coordinate changes.
- Troubleshooting specifications, entering orders, and coordinating raw/supplied material receipt.
- Modifying order instructions as needed for flawless execution.
- Designing, implementing, and managing pricing functions (as needed).
- Acting as a communication link between external clients & all internal departments.
- Managing and developing relationships with client contacts.
- Providing recommendations to improve quality, client satisfaction, productivity, & operating costs.
- Maintaining knowledge of market conditions, pricing, & competitive activity.
- Creating/developing process documentation, workflows, & job aids.
- Managing production against forecast via MRP/client inventory.
- Reviewing work quality for other staff to ensure accuracy.
- Performing other related duties & participating in special projects.
- Training and mentoring other client care staff members.
- Maintaining knowledge of operating procedures, policies, instructions.
- Leading Corrective Action process for medium/large accounts.
- Serving as a lead customer service professional.
- Facilitating resolution of production problems.
- Assisting in creating prototypes & custom print pieces.
- Managing production from order entry to delivery/invoicing.
- Maintaining active communication & providing job status updates.
- Ensuring work responsibilities are covered during absences.
- Assisting Sales in developing Business Review Presentations.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Occasional weekend/holiday work.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or commensurate business experience.
- 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Excellent oral/written communication & presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Drive/Chrome).
- Ability to quickly learn new programs/business areas.
- Excellent knowledge of functional area(s).
