Job Details
Reporting & Compliance: Oversee daily and weekly reporting for multiple ABS structures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
Data Analysis & Quality Control: Validate and reconcile transaction data, cash flows, and collateral pool performance metrics across ABS programs.
Process Improvement & Automation: Lead initiatives to automate and optimize ABS reporting processes, reducing manual workload and enhancing efficiency.
Investor & Regulatory Engagement: Serve as primary reporting contact for investors, rating agencies, and regulatory bodies; address inquiries and deliver periodic reports.
Expansion & New Structures: Support onboarding of new jurisdictions and public market transactions; ensure reporting frameworks align with evolving ABS structures.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of ABS reporting analysts, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with treasury, risk, accounting, and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and compliance.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, ABS reporting, securitization, or related field within a financial institution, auto finance company, or investment bank.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in ABS reporting systems, data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau), and financial modeling in Excel. Experience with securitization-specific software (e.g., Moody's ABS Suite, S&P Global solutions) is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of ABS structures, investor reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ESMA Securitization Regulations, IFRS 9, STS framework). Prior experience of Italian Law 130 structures and related reporting to the Bank of Italy is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Prior experience leading or mentoring a team, with ability to manage workload prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous approach to data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; present complex data insights to senior stakeholders, investors, and regulators.
Language Skills: Fluency in English required; German and/or Italian a plus.
