Job Details
Student Advisor retains students from enrollment to completion, driving persistence through clinical or professional placements. Provides outreach to students via various methods to support successful program and placement requirements.
- Completes outreach (phone, email, text) per program strategies.
- Responds to student inquiries (phone, email, text).
- Collaborates with Enrollment Advisor to onboard new students.
- Documents all student communication and data in CRM and relevant systems.
- Documents cross-functional team communication and actions.
- Understands student population fluctuations and works with Associate Director to achieve retention and placement goals.
- Confirms final student and enrollment numbers.
- Conducts outreach around progress markers (registration, participation, clearances, grades, at-risk indicators).
- Communicates with university partner faculty/advisors as needed.
- Escalates issues to Associate Director.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 1-2 years related experience (Student Advising, Call Center, Inbound/Outbound, Customer Service). Experience in higher education preferred.

Technical Abilities: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, InPlace, university partner SIS and LMS preferred. Familiarity with university partner clearance tracking systems (Complio, CastleBranch, etc). Comfort using multiple systems, navigating between them, and learning new technology.
