Supply Chain Analyst - IT LogisticsThis is a contract position.This is an onsite opportunity located in Fremont, CA.About this position
We are seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to help implement industrial engineering and Lean principles at our warehouse in Newark, CA. In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to improve warehouse processes and increase overall efficiency, capacity, quality, and safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Process Owner in developing and deploying efficient methods to integrate warehouse technicians, tooling, material requirements, and data for optimal processes.
- Collaborate with Operations Management to identify constraints and implement solutions; address tier 1 process issues escalated daily by Operations.
- Create and validate time studies in various work areas and report improvement recommendations to leaders.
- Recommend and implement updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following the change management process.
- Work to improve workstation safety and ergonomics for better employee productivity and well-being.
Skills/Requirements
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering concepts including takt time, target cycle time, the 8 wastes, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Just-in-Time (JIT), 5S, and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA).
- Ability to create process flow maps, floor layouts, multi-process workstation layouts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Experience conducting cycle time studies and recommending improvements.
- Moderate data analysis skills (knowledge of Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and GSuite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms).

Pay Range
Pay Range: $40-45/hr
