Full-Time Sustainability Manager

Arch is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key contributor, you'll collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability data to drive decision-making.

This position leads initiatives related to our annual carbon footprint and minimizing environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead collection and validation of facility utility data (energy, water, waste).
2. Analyze greenhouse gas data for annual calculations, ensuring accuracy.
3. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in sustainability reporting.
4. Oversee real property inventory updates, including square footage.
5. Lead collection & refinement of carbon footprint, identifying improvement areas.
6. Lead reporting & analysis of carbon footprint, and report findings to stakeholders.
7. Ensure all sustainability reporting deadlines are met.
8. Participate in carbon emissions mitigation efforts.
9. Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports in alignment with industry standards (SASB, TCFD, CSRD, SEC).
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data submission.
11. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and support sustainability initiatives.
12. Manage projects, ensuring quality and liaising with stakeholders.
13. Stay current on trends, regulations, and best practices.
14. Implement enhancements to sustainability data collection.
15. Work collaboratively with global teams (finance, legal, facilities).
16. Collaborate with office/building managers.
17. Partner with stakeholders to develop sustainability programs.
18. Support internal and external audit processes.
19. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
20. Develop communications for various audiences.
21. Maintain data accuracy and integrity.
22. 5+ years of experience in data analysis/auditing/financial reporting, ideally with focus on sustainability.
23. 5+ years of leadership experience.
24. 5+ years managing sustainability initiatives.
25. Experience with GHG data management software (e.g., Watershed, UL360).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Experience analyzing complex problems and developing solutions
• Experience working with facilities/operational sustainability
