System Administrator - Defence Products

Tasks

• Plan and operate defense platforms with site reliability engineers and network engineers.
• Protect hosting products and infrastructure.
• Handle DDoS mitigation, modern web application firewalls, zero trust strategies, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Value creative ideas, agile methods, initiative, and participation.

Conditions

• Computer Science degree or comparable education.
• Interest in security and good network knowledge.
• Several years of experience administering complex Linux systems.
• Configuration and operation of Apache and Nginx as reverse proxy or web application firewall.
• Deployment of BGP, flowspec, and anycast routing on Linux systems and network routers.
• Automation with Ansible, Puppet, and Python.
• Analytical skills for evaluating DDoS attacks and implementing countermeasures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ELK-Stack is beneficial.
• Open Source enthusiast, especially Linux.
• Fluent English communication; German is a plus.
