Full-Time Systems Testing Analyst

We are seeking a technology specialist to join an Agile development team, testing technology solutions for new and enhanced products. The role requires ensuring efficient testing procedures to prevent errors in the production system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake system testing within Agile Scrum, evaluating and testing acceptance criteria for external system changes.
• Manipulate data for testing acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with the Technology team to improve testing efficiency.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Cifas' external technology solutions.
• Identify testing gaps and add acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with design team on acceptance criteria and testing.
• Ensure testing stays on track with the development team, Systems Analyst, and Technology Business Partner.
• Resolve bugs or discrepancies in acceptance criteria.
• Operate API testing software.
• Establish, run, and maintain automated testing (API and web UI).

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Agile development
• Data manipulation and test environment preparation
• Experience with Given-When-Then syntax for acceptance criteria
• Knowledge of development environment testing
• Strong technical understanding of Agile
• Understanding of Cifas systems and rapid knowledge acquisition
• SQL proficiency for interrogating Cifas databases
• Experience with API software (ReadyAPI, Postman)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Problem-solving and innovation skills
• Ability to collaborate with third-party suppliers
• Desirable: Automated web UI testing packages (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress)
