Your CareerAs a Technical Sales Manager (TSM) for SD-WAN, you'll work with sales partners to build customer relationships, helping them prevent cyberattacks and advise on Palo Alto Networks applications. TSMs bring deep technical cybersecurity product understanding, including integrations and critical threats. You'll build trust and secure customer environments. Based on customer feedback, you'll provide input to product management on new features and improvements.
Your ImpactEstablish yourself as a trusted advisor on Palo Alto Networks SD-WAN products. Work with Account Managers and local partners to architect validated solutions addressing SD-WAN and security problems. Identify and document customer problems solvable with integrated solutions. Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption. Pursue continuous self-improvement to maintain technical leadership in applicable technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.). Differentiate against competitors. Act as the customer advocate for technical assistance issues.
Your Experience5+ years of relevant technical pre-sales systems engineering experience in networking. Highly advanced SD-WAN architectures/providers and BGP routing experience. Preferred Skills: WAN technologies (MPLS, MetroE, Leased Lines, Broadband), Tunneling protocols (SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN), IP Routing (BGP, OSPF, Static, NAT), Virtualization technologies (ESX, KVM, Xen, Microsoft), Network security (IPS/IDS, Zone-Based Firewalls). Up to 50% travel as needed.
