Full-Time Technical Solutions Architect

Technical Solutions Architect is a global role focused on Microsoft and Oracle CSP (cloud service provider) partners. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategy for CSP build and sell-through partnerships on Microsoft Azure and OCI.

Responsibilities:

• Expert on technology/solutions with partners.
• Navigate current and future offerings/architectures from Microsoft and Oracle.
• Provide prescriptive guidance to Palo Alto Networks teams on collaboration and overlap areas.
• Develop the sell-through story on these platforms.
• Provide technical expertise on joint offers to PANW and Partner field sellers and customers.
• Support reference architectures, integrations, and technical co-selling resources.
• Act as an expert problem solver and trainer for Microsoft Cloud Architects and PANW field sellers/architects.
• Understand CSP and PANW security offerings.
• Identify future integration opportunities.
• Present as an expert to customers at all levels (technician to CIO/CISO).
• Converse with C-level executives on industry trends and emerging cloud security changes.
• Lead discussions on competitive alternatives.
• Lead demonstrations of products.
• Create architectures to show PANW/CSP product/solution overlap.
• Maintain and create CSP integrations (solution briefs).
• Achieve competencies with CSPs to elevate partnerships.
• Provide design consultation and best practice guidance for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion.
• Engage in critical business development projects.
• Work with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to create customer requirements.
• Participate in customer-facing webinars.
• Present product updates/roadmaps and training to SEs and CSP Engineers.
• Deliver demos for prospects and accounts.
• Train colleagues and CSP Engineers.
• Provide advanced CSP Engineer training.
• Help establish and manage POC environments.
• Lead partner and customer presentations.

Experience Requirements:

• In-depth technical knowledge of public cloud, CSP services (technology and business).
• Demonstrated ability to sell, demonstrate, install, and troubleshoot products.
• Presentation and demonstration skills at a high level.
• Scripting capabilities in Azure, Terraform, and Python.
• L2-L4 Networking knowledge (cloud networking architectures, IP routing, BGP, L4 load balancing).
• Cloud and security experience in IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS products (especially Microsoft Azure).
• BSCS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Ability to travel 40-50%, including internationally.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to manage diverse tasks in a high-pressure environment.
