Full-Time Test Assurance Manager

• Lead customer-facing test assurance activities for Public Safety Products.
• Write bid responses and provide accurate estimations for test assurance activities.
• Define test strategies and generate Requirements Traceability Matrices (RVTM).
• Develop detailed test plans aligned with customer and project requirements.
• Coordinate test environments and prepare teams for test phases (SIT, UAT, SAT, OAT, etc.).
• Manage internal and external test resources, including scheduling and coordinating onshore/offshore teams.
• Identify test automation opportunities and oversee automated test cases.
• Ensure rigorous test reporting, metrics, and defect management.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, standards, and toolsets in alignment with Agile practices.
• Ensure compliance with NEC’s Quality Management Processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and represent test assurance activities.

• Essential:
• Demonstrable IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Test Lead or Test Manager role.
• Customer-facing experience, especially in the public sector.
• Experience writing bid responses for testing workstreams and defining effort estimates.
• Background in test assurance and quality governance.
• Experience producing Test Strategies, RACI matrices, and detailed test plans.
• Experience in test process improvement and Agile testing frameworks.
• Strong organizational and resource management skills.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight delivery deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and drive team to delivery to highest quality standards within agreed timescales
• ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum requirement). ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent (desirable).
