Full-Time Test Assurance Manager (Security Clearance required)

• Overview: NEC Software Solutions seeks an experienced Test Manager/Lead for customer-facing Test Assurance activities for Public Safety software products.
• Responsibilities: Lead customer-facing test assurance, write bid responses, define test strategies, develop test plans, coordinate test environments, manage test resources, identify automation opportunities, ensure test reporting, drive process improvement, ensure compliance, collaborate with teams, and communicate with customers.
• Essential Experience & Skills:

1. IT experience with 5+ years in Test Lead/Manager role.
2. Customer-facing experience, especially in public sector.
3. Bid response writing and effort estimation skills.
4. Strong background in test assurance and quality governance.
5. Experience producing Test Strategies, RACI matrices, and test plans.
6. Prior experience in test process improvement and Agile testing.
7. Strong organisational and resource management skills.
8. Understanding of test automation frameworks/tools.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Ability to build trust-based relationships.
11. Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
12. Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic.

• Desirable: Experience in Public Safety or Emergency Services, coordinating offshore/onshore teams, and Agile tools like JIRA/Confluence.
• Required Knowledge: Senior Stakeholder management, risk-based testing, ability to work under pressure, interpersonal skills, and ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum).
