Full-Time Test Manager

• NEC Software Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Manager/Lead.
• Responsible for overseeing and driving customer-facing Test Assurance activities for Public Safety software products.
• Primary owner for planning and executing all aspects of customer test assurance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead customer-facing test assurance activities.
• Write bid responses and provide estimations for test assurance activities.
• Define and implement test strategies and generate Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Develop and implement detailed test plans.
• Coordinate test environments.
• Manage internal and external test resources.
• Identify opportunities for test automation.
• Ensure rigorous test reporting and defect management.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers.

Experience & Skills:

• Essential: 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years as Test Lead or Manager.
• Customer-facing experience, preferably in the public sector.
• Experience writing bid responses and defining effort estimates.
• Strong background in test assurance and quality governance.
• Experience producing Test Strategies and detailed test plans.
• Prior experience in test process improvement and Agile testing.
• Strong organizational and resource management skills.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks/tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Desirable:

• Experience in Public Safety or Emergency Services.
• Experience coordinating offshore and onshore test teams.
• Experience with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Required Knowledge and Attributes:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
