Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Testing Engineer to join our team.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Trial Library's solutions to accelerate clinical trial recruitment. The role involves designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies across our technology stack, including AI-powered services, clinical trial search, and user-facing applications.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and integration tests.
- Developing and implementing QA processes and best practices to improve product quality.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of testing procedures and results.
- Maintaining automated testing frameworks for backend services (Python) and frontend applications (TypeScript).
- Designing and implementing CI/CD testing pipelines.
- Conducting API, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborating with product and engineering to understand requirements and QA features.
- Performing thorough regression testing.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs (Jira).
- Working with healthcare and clinical trial datasets, ensuring compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Expertise in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Jest, Cypress).
- Experience with API testing tools and performance testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with relational database systems (e.g., Postgres).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket).
- Experience testing AI/ML models and systems (a plus).
- Experience with healthcare tech or clinical trials (a plus).
