We are looking for a Transport Intelligence Analyst based in Rodange (L).
The role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical and supply chain background coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
As a Transport Intelligence Analyst, you will work within the European Transport function, collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Finance teams, external partners (freight carriers, audit company) to ensure financial data transparency and strategic objectives.
Your role will contribute to high profitability by optimizing and controlling the freight budget (95m€).
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and analyze financial performance KPIs, monitor carrier costs weekly.
- Maintain and enhance analytical capabilities related to cost reporting, staying informed about market dynamics.
- Support financial reporting (annual budget, month-end and weekly reporting, forecasting, cost deviation management).
- Deploy cost analytical tools for the European Transportation team.
- Implement freight projects to reduce costs and improve customer lead-time.
- Manage carrier portfolio, conduct quarterly performance reviews, and participate in annual budget discussions.
- Facilitate communication between Avery Dennison departments (shipping, customer service) and carrier partners.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of supply chain, research, transport or related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3/4+ years of experience in analyst, ELS or project-based roles within an international organization.
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, printing technologies, and/or labeling solutions is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Green Belt Certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- High degree of accuracy, strong time management, and prioritization skills.
- Energetic, dedicated, enthusiastic work approach, strong self-management, and analytical mindset.
