Role of Tax Analyst: As a Tax Analyst, you will support our tax team, preparing and filing accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance, and improving our tax operations.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Collect and analyze financial data to calculate tax liabilities and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of returns.
- Maintain organized records of tax documents.
- Assist with updates to tax checklists and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior tax analysts and managers.
- Stay updated on tax law changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte, Tax Dome, etc) and Microsoft Excel/GSuite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
