Position OverviewDiligent is seeking an experienced Value Engineer to join the team and work on Key accounts. This role focuses on developing opportunities for prospects and customers, leveraging GTM strategies and value drivers. The engineer will ensure mutually agreed outcomes with customers are achieved through adaptation for measurable success. The Business Value Consulting program manages these outcomes from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present clear, concise Business Cases and Value Assessments, including unearthing business requirements and drivers, mapping them to technology offerings, and articulating validated business value.
- Gather and analyze business, technical, and financial information to understand client baseline and future capabilities.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify benefit realization opportunities.
- Drive adoption of the business value framework across Diligent. Support teams throughout the customer journey, from sales to success and value realization.
- Review and support Proof of Concepts (POCs) and project planning, integrating Proof of Value messaging.
- Participate in thought leadership activities such as creating whitepapers, GTM materials, and leading internal initiatives.
- Provide training to other engineers as part of enablement efforts.
- Enable presales and sales teams on Value-Based Selling best practices.
- Articulate and promote industry and business trends relevant to Diligent's strategy.
Required Experience/Skills
- Extensive experience in product management, particularly in Data SaaS products.
- Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written).
- Strong experience partnering with sales forces using MEDDIC/MEDDPIC methodologies.
- Adaptive mindset to drive meaningful value perception for customers.
- Clear analysis and modeling of ROI and TCO to support business cases.
- Internal and external relationship building to understand underlying needs and deliver proposed value.
