About The Position The KIPP Foundation seeks a Vice President of Data and Analytics to modernize data systems and infrastructure for centralized core data processing. This reduces duplication, increases collaboration, and ensures all KIPP leaders have data for operational excellence and improved student outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analytics, Insights & Business Intelligence Develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Data Strategy, Governance & Infrastructure Define a long-term data strategy, modernize data systems, and establish data governance.
- Leadership & Team Management Lead, develop, and manage a 17-person Data & Analytics team.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with programmatic and operational teams to deliver tailored data support.
- Insights, Culture, and Innovation Promote a culture of data fluency and stay ahead of industry trends.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in data and analytics, 7+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (CAP) desirable.
Work Conditions
- Travel: 15-25%
Location Remote or KIPP Foundation office (NYC or Chicago).
Compensation $190,000-$227,000. Benefits include 25+ holidays, flexible PTO, paid parental leave, and comprehensive insurance.
