Full-Time Vice President of Cybersecurity

Resultant is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Cybersecurity.

This senior leadership role reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Managed Services. The VP will lead the delivery of advanced cybersecurity consulting and managed services to clients, focusing on both public sector and mid-market private sector clients. This role is pivotal in growing the cybersecurity capabilities to drive growth of the managed services practice and mitigate risk for consulting projects that often process millions of sensitive records.

The VP will develop and deploy cybersecurity strategies and solutions, adapting to industry and technology trends, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

1. Provide leadership and management to the Cybersecurity team, developing an organizational structure and leadership team aligned with Resultant’s mission and values.
2. Oversee the cybersecurity practice within Managed Services, including leading MSSP operations, vCISO services, and cybersecurity consulting projects.
3. Attract, develop, and retain top cybersecurity talent with support from the talent function.
4. Identify opportunities at existing clients, develop proposals, workplans, and pricing, and close deals.
5. Design and deliver relevant cybersecurity services to clients, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
6. Manage the day-to-day delivery of cybersecurity services, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
7. Ensure the highest client satisfaction in line with Resultant’s strategy.
8. Partner with other senior leaders to deliver cross-functional services and outcomes.
9. Lead with empathy, motivating the team to deliver first-class solutions while preparing for long-term growth.
10. Assist in designing and ensuring compliance with core business processes.
11. Serve as a thought leader for cybersecurity, both internally and externally.
12. Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and industry trends to ensure the company’s cybersecurity strategies remain effective and compliant.
13. Implement and oversee compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and NIST.
14. Support the Professional Services consulting team with secure application development design, regulatory compliance, and other cybersecurity needs.
15. Assist internal IT with its cybersecurity needs, ensuring robust protection of the company’s internal systems and data.
