Job Details
VP, Account Services has primary responsibility for Account Services activities for assigned clients.
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue that meets and exceeds objectives, including client satisfaction, development, and retention.
Leads internal cross-functional teams and clients on strategic and tactical plan, design, and execution of innovative multichannel pharmaceutical marketing communications initiatives.
Accountabilities: client relationship development, core team leadership, new business development, and overall strategy, development, and execution.
Responsibilities: Establish and lead cross-functional teams; monitor and manage activities for timely delivery, foster collaboration; serve as primary client contact for assigned accounts, issues resolution, and exemplary customer service;
Develop and nurture client relationships for continuous collaboration;
Keep client and product strategy to the forefront of project discussions, and make related recommendations;
Review all material for adherence to client and product strategy, represent executive team;
Work with internal team to meet goals and objectives, oversee financial aspects (compliance, statements of work, purchase orders, etc.); develop and defend client statements of work;
Develop strategic/creative briefs, clearly communicate vision and expectations;
Oversee forecasting and reporting, ensure team compliance with client contracts, timelines, and budgets; Manage, mentor, and develop assigned personnel;
Review major deliverables to ensure quality and client expectations;
Attend client meetings, congresses, and communicate learnings;
Actively participate in client presentations;
Perform client core team responsibilities as needed; help team members carry out tasks, agree and communicate roles;
Onboard, train, mentor, and support team members;
Work with team members and managers on issue resolution;
Manage individual team members, allocate and prioritize resources and workflow;
Ensure all client core teams are assigned and effective; monitor progress and adjust;
Foster and develop collaboration among core team members;
Provide guidance on product strategy and project planning;
Intervene on behalf of client core teams if issues arise;
Assist leadership with strategies and cross-selling initiatives;
Lead strategic and tactical planning initiatives; ensure existing client revenue goals are achieved;
Lead assigned business development opportunities and initiatives for revenue growth;
Seek new business opportunities within current clients;
Lead teams to create and submit RFPs/proposals;
Provide cross-selling, new business development, and revenue growth; monitor industry best practices;
Lead and support key internal committees;
Represent organization appropriately; enhance work culture; facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships;
Resolve conflict and celebrate success, set clear team priorities;
Keep senior management informed of critical client concerns and internal issues;
Skills: Effective leadership, strategic marketing, business processes, diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, people management;

Requirements: Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred; 10+ years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing and account services; demonstrated success managing 5+ million dollars; experience managing and mentoring personnel; experience leading advertising and promotion initiatives;
Working Conditions: Virtual/in-person presentations; communication with clients and teams;
Travel as needed; ability to commit to extra hours.
