Position: Hybrid, but could be fully remote for a qualified candidate
Job Summary: Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Process Analyst. This role involves understanding water treatment process engineering principles, instrumentation/controls, and mechanical/operations. This includes monitoring and optimizing UF, MBR, RO, EDI, and other water treatment methods for Municipal and Industrial customers. Collaboration with a matrixed organization is key to implementing process improvements for customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop in-depth understanding of water treatment process principles (wastewater, drinking water, industrial).
- Understand how interconnected systems (instrumentation, controls, mechanical) function within water treatment plants.
- Perform in-depth data manipulation, analysis, and timely troubleshooting.
- Create customer-centric technical reports analyzing process/operations data, identifying anomalies, assessing risks, and providing proactive solutions.
- Review engineering documents (P&IDs, Process Design, Process Flow Diagrams, Mass Balances, Controls documents).
- Follow QA/QC procedures to maintain data quality.
- Assist service project managers with upgrade/project work.
- Manage customer expectations and provide technical guidance to ensure positive plant references, identify future sales opportunities.

Education & Experience:
- Previous experience with membrane systems, Reverse Osmosis, Operations, Commissioning, Field Service, or design is required.
- High School Diploma required. 4-year degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry preferred; or 3-year diploma also considered.
- Equivalent water experience considered.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask.
- Up to 10% travel for plant audits, troubleshooting, and client relationship management.
Preferred:
- Experience with data manipulation, analytics, and data science.
- Proficiency in BI tools for data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, control valves, rotating equipment.
Working Conditions: Hybrid schedule, office environment.
