Job SummaryVeolia Water Technologies and Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for understanding water treatment process engineering design principles, instrumentation & controls, mechanical and operations. These skills enable monitoring and optimizing the water treatment process for UF, MBR, RO, EDI and other water treatment methods for Municipal, Industrial customers.
You will work closely with a matrixed organization to identify and implement process improvements ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth understanding of water treatment process engineering principles and designs for wastewater, drinking water, and industrial applications.
- Understand how interrelated system components (Instrumentation & controls, mechanical - pumps, valves, and programming) make up a functioning water treatment plant.
- Perform in-depth data manipulation, analysis, and timely troubleshooting.
- Create customer-centric technical reports analyzing process and operations data to validate against design criteria, identifying anomalies, and assessing risks to provide recommendations to manage or eliminate risks proactively.
- Review engineering documents (P&IDs, Process Design, Process Flow Diagrams, Mass Balances, Controls documents), conduct research and development into specific processes or issues.
- Follow QA/QC procedures to validate and maintain data quality for projects.
- Work with service project managers on upgrades and project work at existing water plants.
- Manage customer expectations, provide technical guidance to ensure positive plant references for Veolia, and identify future sales opportunities.

Education & Experience
- Required: Previous experience with membrane systems, Reverse Osmosis treatment process Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, Field Service or design experience.
- High School Diploma
- 4-year degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry preferred; or 3-year Diploma preferred but not required.
- Equivalent water experience considered.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask on several concurrent projects
- Travel up to 10% to perform plant process audits, troubleshooting, cleaning assistance at customer sites, and assist in managing client relationships.
Preferred:
- Experience with data manipulation, analytics development, data science
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation using BI Tools
- Experience and basic knowledge of instrumentation, control valves, rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps, chemical addition pumps, and centrifugal compressors.
Salary Range: $67,000 - $75,000
Working Conditions: Hybrid schedule; Office environment
