Workforce Planning Analyst
Provide key Workforce Planning and Productivity function supporting hotels by leading workforce and labor analysis to maintain and improve hotel teams.
Ensure 12,000 team members across 350+ sites have the right labor for hotel pubs.
Create labor hours for direct wages based on engineered labor standards reflecting business expectations, using bottom-up budgeting for 350 hotel sites.
Translate business problems for workforce planning and management using business and financial acumen to create actionable insights for the business.
Design and produce simplified reporting for the Operations team to easily identify trends and areas of opportunity to improve cost and efficiency.
Support and challenge the delivery of labor hours budget outcomes to enable compliant hotel rostering through data, analytics, and trend analysis.
Forecast workforce planning requirements for hotel sites supporting seasonal events and long-term projections.
Coach, support, and develop Hotel Operations Teams and Business Partners on workforce planning and productivity best practices, monitoring and tracking outcomes, ensuring hotel adoption of recommendations.
Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Previous experience in operational workforce planning roles; hotel experience desired, but not essential (3-5 years).
Advanced analytical and modeling skills with experience linking data to business problems, using SQL and Python (Tableau desired).
Comprehensive understanding of workforce planning methodologies, systems, and processes for hotel or operational environments.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting workforce planning requirements based on bottom-up methodologies for events and long-term projections.
Good presentation and communication skills; ability to manage cross-functional outcomes.
Ability to understand and interpret wage reporting to identify key drivers and productivity impacts.
Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to work independently and across video conferencing, if appropriate.
Able to travel interstate and within the state.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or similar field.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
