Workforce Planning Analyst
Provide key Workforce Planning and Productivity function supporting hotels. Lead workforce and labor analysis to maintain and improve hotel teams.
Ensure 12,000 team members across 350+ hotel sites have the right labor for pubs.
Create labor hours for direct wages based on engineered labor standards, reflecting business expectations from bottom-up budgeting for 350 hotel sites.
Translate business problems into workforce planning & management solutions, using financial acumen to create actionable insights.
Design & produce simplified reports for the Operations team, enabling identification of trends and cost/efficiency improvement areas.
Support and challenge labor hour budget outcomes enabling compliant hotel rostering using data, analytics and trend analysis.
Forecast workforce planning needs for hotel sites to support seasonal events and long-term projections.
Coach, support and develop Hotel Operations Teams and Business Partners on workforce planning and productivity best practices, monitoring and tracking outcomes, ensuring hotel adoption of recommendations.
Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in operational workforce planning roles; hotel experience desired (3-5 years).
Advanced analytical & modeling skills; linking data to business problems using SQL and Python; Tableau preferred.
Understanding of workforce planning management methodologies, systems and processes for hotels or operational environments.
Experience in budgeting & forecasting workforce planning needs (bottom-up methodologies for events & long-term projections).
Strong presentation and communication skills to manage cross-functional outcomes.
Ability to interpret wage reporting to identify productivity drivers and impacts.
Strong planning and organizational skills to work independently and across video conferencing.
Ability to travel interstate and within state.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering or similar.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
