Job Details
Workforce Planning Analyst to provide key Workforce Planning and Productivity function supporting hotels. Lead workforce and labor analysis to maintain and improve hotel teams.
Ensure 12,000 team members across 350+ sites have the right labor for pubs.
Create labor hours for direct wages based on engineered labor standards reflecting business expectations, bottom-up budgeting for 350 hotel sites.
Translate business problems into actionable workforce planning and management insights using business and financial acumen.
Design and produce simplified reporting for the Operations team to identify trends and improve cost/efficiency.
Support and challenge labor hour budget outcomes to enable compliant hotel rostering using data, analytics, and trend analysis.
Forecast workforce planning requirements for seasonal events and long-term projections.
Coach, support, and develop Hotel Operations Teams on workforce planning and productivity best practices, monitoring outcomes and ensuring hotel adoption of recommendations.
Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience Required:
- Previous operational workforce planning experience (3-5 years)
- Hotel experience desired but not essential
- Advanced analytical and modeling skills
- Data linking experience, experience in SQL and Python, Tableau desirable
- Comprehensive understanding of workforce planning methodologies, systems, and processes (hotel or operational environments)
- Budgeting and forecasting experience using bottom-up methodologies for events and long-term projections
- Strong presentation and communication skills with cross-functional outcome management ability
- Wage reporting interpretation to identify key drivers and productivity impacts
- Planning and organizational skills with independent and cross-video conferencing work ability
- Interstate and intrastate travel ability
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or a similar field
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
