We are seeking an experienced YouTube Channel Manager to oversee publishing operations for the leading aviation channel, Mentour Pilot. While YouTube is central, we're focused on multi-platform growth across Patreon, consumer products, and more.
Ideal candidate: Possesses deep YouTube knowledge, audience-first mindset, and strong data analysis skills to drive audience and revenue growth. Commercial acumen and editorial instincts are essential, with ideas to promote new initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing YouTube publishing operations (and sister channels like Mentour Now!).
- Uploading content, adhering to platform best practices.
- Identifying cross-posting/re-versioning opportunities across platforms.
- Managing content output across all relevant platforms, collaborating with the Social Media Manager.
- Sharing performance and revenue updates with the team.
- Optimizing back catalogue content (thumbnails, titles).
- Suggesting content ideas and providing feedback on edits.
- Utilizing data analysis for actionable insights and growth strategies.
- Participating in meetings with stakeholders to present channel performance.
- Staying current with YouTube platform updates.
- Optimizing titles, descriptions, and keywords for SEO.
- Writing and editing metadata for videos and channels.
- Ensuring brand values (accuracy and quality) are maintained across all channels.
- Responding to comments/messages representing the brand.
- Supporting digital marketing initiatives, including social promotions.
