Part-Time Adjunct Graduate Nursing Faculty

Job Responsibilities:

Teach online Graduate Nursing courses (NP and DNP programs).

Strong understanding and practice-based experience in one or more of these areas:

• Advanced Health Assessment
• Advanced Nursing Research
• Advanced Pathophysiology
• Advanced Pharmacology (PharmD required)
• Application of Nursing Research
• Diagnostic Reasoning for NPs
• Epidemiology & Environmental Health
• Ethical Principles for Adv. Nursing Practice (Ethics Committee membership required)
• Nursing Informatics
• Statistics
• Theoretical Foundations of Nursing
• PhD Dissertation Chair (Prior experience required)
• DNP Project (Prior experience required)

Required Qualifications:

• PhD or DNP degree
• Unencumbered RN license in compact state
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Minimum 2 years of successful online teaching experience at the graduate level
• Proven ability to engage students in active learning
• Experience with learning management systems (LMSs, D2L/Brightspace preferred)
