Columbia University SPS seeks candidates for a part-time Lecturer to teach the Client Communications portion of the Insurance Planning and Client Communications course. Scholar-practitioners with academic and industry experience are invited to apply.

Compensation: $4,492 for course development; $8,115 for course delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-record lectures
- Prepare course materials
- Oversee the course Canvas web page
- Incorporate CFP® required topics
- Monitor and respond to student inquiries
- Evaluate and grade student assessments
- Participate in lecturer meetings
- Attend in-person residencies
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in finance, wealth management, or a related field
- Expertise in financial planning and wealth management
- Experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals
- Understanding of wealth management business models
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
- 2+ years of teaching experience
- Expertise in client communication
- Familiarity with financial psychology concepts
- Experience with digital communication tools
