Full-Time Analytics Engineer / DWH Engineer

Data Platform is a central piece for analytical data across Docplanner, responsible for ensuring every team has the data & tools needed. The platform aims to provide self-service, flexible, & scalable solutions.

The team mission is data modeling, DWH engineering, and web tracking. They build platform-as-a-product solutions and serve as enablers for internal customers' autonomous work.

Accountabilities:

• Build, automate & assure quality of data products.
• Own and improve the DWH data model.
• Own & maintain the DWH cluster (Redshift).
• Apply expertise in dbt, data domainisation, and Data Vault.
• Collaborate with analytics teams on building data models.
• Assure technical guidelines.
• Support teams to gain autonomy in data model ownership.
• Advocate for best practices in data engineering & analytics.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders.
• Design & enforce data layering and decentralized ownership.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Data warehousing/database administration experience.
• Strong SQL skills (query optimization, database design).
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Data Modeling skills (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).
• BI, data modeling techniques, and trends knowledge.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Cloud technologies and ETL/ELT tools experience (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, dbt, Airflow).
• Orchestrator experience (Airflow, Dagster).
• Git & code versioning skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt in large-scale deployments (Bonus).
• Spark and Scala knowledge (Bonus).
• Alignment with our stack (e.g., AWS ecosystem, Redshift, S3, Tableau, Superset).
• Infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Good English.
