About the team: The Data Science Engineering (DSE) team consists of analytics engineers, data scientists, and software engineers. The team is responsible for enabling data-driven decision making and building data products at Wealthsimple.

About the role: At Wealthsimple, the Financial Operating System (FOS) domain offers the fundamental financial building blocks necessary to develop our financial products. The domain empowers our customers with a robust financial platform. We are hiring for an experienced hands-on Analytics Engineering leader to join our FOS leadership team.

• Manage the partnership with our Product and Engineering teams
• Lead a best-in-class team of data scientists and analytics developers
• Build robust, efficient, and integrated data models in cloud data warehouses
• Set organizational standards and influence our data science and engineering culture
• Apply software engineering best practices
• Translate business requirements into data models and analysis
• Continuously look for the simplest, most effective way to approach challenges
• Take ownership and ship it
• Empower the team
